KISsoccer Player Skills Development Camps are offered to both recreational and competitive soccer players, girls and boys ages 7 to 13 years old, who are looking to improve their techniques through hands-on instruction and game-play formats.
The Skills Development Camp programs are structured for each level, with participants divided into groups by age and/or experience. The focus is on core skills training including balance, agility, control, passing, shooting and finishing, with thousands of ball touches during each session. In addition, small-formatted games and themed technical challenges allow players to put their acquired learning and best practices into motion.
Throughout each camp session, ample time is provided for rest periods, water breaks, snacks and lunch. These times allow for question and answer periods, and periodically for presentations from guest speakers covering topics such as nutrition, sports therapy and sports psychology.
Outdoor camps allow for room to stretch activities, which can include long-field drills and enhanced game-tactics. Indoor camps, sheltered from the elements, allow players to train within the KISsoccer facility using advanced self-training equipment in smaller group settings. In either environment, the running theme is to ensure players are kept focused and active, while having fun with friends and team-mates.
